Obituary for Carolyn Lynn Funderburg Galloway
Ms. Carolyn Lynn Funderburg Galloway, age 60, entered eternal rest on Friday, March 19, 2021 at her residence in Pineville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory.
Memorial Services for Ms. Carolyn will be held Saturday, March 27, 2021 at 11:00AM in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home. The Visitation for Ms. Carolyn will be held from 9:00AM until the time of service. Inurnment will follow the services in Restland Memorial Gardens.
Ms. Carolyn Galloway was a loving mother, grandmother, and sister. Ms. Carolyn was a Pineville native, attending Pineville High School from 75' through 78' and was a part of the Boosters. After high school she travelled with her military husband and eventually settled down in Pineville with her husband and daughters. Ms. Carolyn was both a good listener and a good talker, never meeting a stranger. She enjoyed doing crafts, going to flea markets and was a "junk gypsy". Ms. Carolyn was a member of HIS Church in Pineville in recent years. She deeply loved her daughter and granddaughter and spending time with them. Ms. Carolyn will forever be missed by those that loved and knew her.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Jessica Michelle Galloway; and parents, Earl Funderburg and Audrey Odgen Funderburg.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Ashley Galloway Pharis (Corey); granddaughter, Acelyn Galloway; brother, Mike Funderburg (Laura); sister, Jane Funderburg Strange (Sam); and two cats, Simba and Nala.
