Obituary for Carolyn "Dianne" McClure Netherlin
Funeral Services for Mrs. Carolyn "Dianne" McClure Netherlin, will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, LA, with Rev. Nelson Ball officiating. Interment to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Pineville, Louisiana.
Honored to serve as pallbearers will be Justin Netherlin, Rocky Netherlin, Jason Murphy, Mark Baden, Brandon Dubois, and Steve Cheatham.
Honorary pallbearers are Daniel Robertson, Laif Netherlin, Finn Netherlin, and Axel Netherlin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Carolyn Dianne McClure Netherlin, age 66, of Tioga, Louisiana, formerly of Grant Parish, Louisiana on Saturday, December 9, 2023, at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
Dianne was preceded in death by his parents, Howard “Mac” McClure and Ollie Nugent McClure; her brother, Doug McClure; and her sister, Denise McClure.
Left to cherish her memory are, her beloved husband of 49 years, Rocky Netherlin; her loving children, Amy Netherlin Murphy (Jason), and Justin Netherlin (Hillee); her devoted grandchildren, Alexis Riva, Bailey Jones, Daniel Robertson, Laif Netherlin, Finn Netherlin, and Axel Netrherlin; her two great grandchildren, Brantley Parker, and Addison Vidrine; her nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.
An accomplished artist and painter, Diane loved to do woodworking as well as floral arranging. She never met a stranger, as she talked to everyone she met. She loved nature, and had a tender heart for animals, known to have rescued and fed many ensuring them a much happier life. A wonderful and caring wife, mother, grandmother and friend, she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. The family would like to extend their utmost gratitude to Harbor Hospice and their staff for the wonderful and compasionate care given during the last few months.
