Obituary for Carol Ann Michiels Bailey
Carol Ann Bailey, age 71, of Alexandria, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. Arrangements are entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.
Memorial will be at Carols Residence 5214 Old Boyce Road, Alexandria La Sunday, October 17th at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Cenla Alliance For Animals Inc. (www.gofundme.com/f/cenla-alliance-for-animals).\
Preceded in death by her parents, Stafford and Allie Mae Michiels, Aunts Ethel Navarre and Shirley Norman.
Left to cherish her memory include her loving fiance’ of eight years, Lloyd Tucker; two daughters, Kimberly Pepitone and her husband, Justin; Michelle Bailey and James; grandchildren, Kayla Taylor, Hanna Burnett, Chase Burnett, Krista Taylor and Kade Taylor; great-grand children, Brantlee Rachall, Zoey Kimber Lee and Kohen Rachall; one brother, Charles Michiels and wife, Gayle; Aunts Becky Sexton and Betty Gaines of Arkansas; Friend and guardian angel caretaker Nancy Hathcote of Nebraska; Special cousins Doris Lawrence and Shirley Paul; and an entire support system of family and friends, far too many to mention.
Carol retired after 25 years with Cenla Chemical Dependency Services. She was an avid lover of animals of all kinds. She was known for taking in any orphaned babies from kittens, squirrels, possums to owls. She loved horses, rodeos, her grandchildren, but mostly her great grandbabies, Zoey, B and Kohen. She truly loved life and all the people included in it.
The family would like to thank Compassionate Care Hospice and staff for their phenomenal care in helping us thru this difficult time.
