Obituary for Brenda Anders
Rosary Brenda Anders, age 76 of Dry Prong, Louisiana entered eternal rest on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, very unexpectedly.
Due to weather, a committal service will be held at Gallagher Funeral Home on Friday, April 7, 2023 at 2:00 pm instead of at the cemetery like originally planned.
Rosary is preceded in death by her husband, William Anders; parents, Alton and Beatrice Prothro; and a brother, Jack “Johnny” Prothro.
Those left to cherish her memory are her step-children, Angela Coburn (Brad), Tony Anders (Debbie) and Patricia McClaugherty (Charlie); grandchildren, Justin Anders, Heather Harris, Ryan and Shelby Strohm, Tristen Noakes, Dylan Coburn, and Makenzie and William McClaugherty; great grandchildren, Ali Anders, Dominic Wuneburger, and Sawyer, Emmett and Maddux Noakes; sister, Clara Prothro Clark; and very special friend, Pauline Butler.
Rosary liked going to thrift shops, she was a thrifter. She enjoyed collecting dogs and had quite a few. If she found one on the road, it became one of hers. She was a loving wife, step mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed by all that knew and loved her.
