Obituary for Blain Hamilton Fetter

Blain Hamilton Fetter, age 33, of Grant Parish, entered eternal rest on Saturday, July 22, 2023 in Alexandria at Rapides Regional Medical Center. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home.

Visitation for Blain will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023, at Gallagher Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, with Bro. David Coody officiating. Interment will follow the service in Pollock Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his father, Brian Hamilton Fetter; sister, Kristin Tyler; grandfather, Terry Gauthier; grandmother, Charlotte West “Nana”; grandfather, Bo LaCroix; aunt, Jennifer Hodnett; and cousin, Gage Peterson.

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Brian M. P. Fetter and a baby on the way; mother, Tina Fetter and step-father, Troy Tyler “Pops”; brother, Trey Tyler (Lulu); grandparents, Kay and Charles Green, Leon Tyler, Leza Gauthier, Betty and James Hodnett, and Ruby Beckley; Aunts and Uncles, Tony and Lisa, Timmy, Kevin, Becky and Mikey, NaeNae and Bobby, Brent and Nikki, Carol and James, Sandra Kay, Chad and Rebecca, Bridgette and JJ; nieces and nephews, Gemma, Heidi, Chandler, Braxton, and Lathon; and a host of Extended family and friends.

Blain was a loving father, son, brother, uncle, nephew, grandson, cousin and friend. Blain worked for Nation Services on a Striping Crew. He was easy going and had an inviting personality. Because of that, people seemed to be drawn to him.

He enjoyed fishing with his cousins and his brother and spending time with family and friends. Blain had a heart for God and will forever be missed.

Pallbearers honored to serve are Camron Gauthier, Blake Gauthier, Corey Hodnett, Travis LaCroix, Dylan Gauthier, Tylor Thompson, Logan Fetter, and Clayton Hart.
