Funeral Services for Betty Dunn will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana, with Reverends Gary Wiley and Mike Cook officiating. Interment to follow at Liberty Chapel Cemetery in Williana, Louisiana.
Visitation to be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 9:00 AM until service time at Gallagher Funeral home in Ball, Louisiana.
Betty Dunn, age 81, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal life on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Reverend Louis Dunn and Beluah Dunn; and her siblings, Russell Dunn and Nina Vee Kennard; and her nephew, Lonnie Kennard Jr.
She is survived by her nieces, Owedia Kennard, Debbie king (Jeral), and Sheila Cook (Mike); nephew, Keith Kennard (Nyla); her brother-in-law, Lonnie Kennard sr.; her sister-in-law, Doris Dunn; numerous great nieces, great nephews, other family and friends.
Betty loved to travel and attend family events; and at these events and during her many travels, one could always count on Betty to have her camera out taking many photos, capturing memories. A lady of strong faith, Betty was always there to pray for others and always was ready and willing to help her family and friends in their time of need. She always put her family first. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. She was stubborn to the core...as she saw it, there was only one way, her way. Above all, she had a passion for spending quality time with her loving family and friends. A wonderful aunt, sister, sister-in-law, and friend, she will greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
