Obituary for Betty Bordelon Glenn
Mrs. Betty Ann Bordelon Glenn, age 75, entered eternal rest on Thursday, July 27, 2023, in Alexandria at Rapides Regional Medical Center.
The visitation will beheld at Gallagher Funeral Home on Sunday, July 30, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. The service will be held on Monday at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Keith Dickens officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Julius Glenn: mother, Annie Dubroc Bordelon; father, Laney Bordelon; sister, Doris Bordelon Taylor; and brothers, Lubby, Chester, and Tunie Bordelon.
Those left to cherish her memory include her son, John Strong, Jr. (Erika); daughters, Patricia Malone (Timothy), Debbie Hughes (Tony), and Kim Walker (John); grandchildren, Jesse Curtis, Dwayne Gunter, Larry Walker, Katelyn Perkins, Kayla McSwain, Chantelle Walker, and Trenton Strong; great grandchildren, Leedy, Lakynn, Miley, Brady, Karter, Peyton, Adelyn, Rosalee, Taitym, Little Ronnie; and Weston; brothers, Laney Bordelon, Jr.; sisters, Judy Ann Mahfouz, Ruth Rusk, and Carolyn Boney; and a host of extended family and friends.
