Funeral services for Barbara Lofton Young will be at 11:00 am on Monday, February 21, 2022 at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Ernie Maynard officiating.
Visitation for Barbara will be on Monday, February 21, 2022 from 11:00 until service time at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Ball, Louisiana.
Barbara Lofton Young, age 91, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, February 15, 2021 Cypress Point Nursing and Rehab Center in Bossier City, Louisiana.
Barbara is preceded in death by husband, Chester Young; and her siblings, Mary Ann Lofton, Charis Shepherd, and Jerry Lofton.
She is survived by her children, Raymond Aycock, Ralph Aycock, and Kathy Nattin; step-daughter, Judith Van Horn (Keith);4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 5 great - great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Frances Lofton; a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A loyal media member of Jimmy Swaggart Ministries, she enjoyed gospel music. Barbara took great pride in her yardwork. She enjoyed most of all spending quality time with her family and friends that she loved so much. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
