Obituary for Audrey "Elaine" Gauthier (Vanderwaters)
Funeral services for Audrey “Elaine” Gauthier will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at Vick Baptist Church, 2803 Highway 1196, Vick, Louisiana under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana.
Visitation will take place from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church.
Mrs. Audrey “Elaine” Gauthier, age 75, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at UAB Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Clifford Gauthier, Sr.; her children, Kenneth Earl Vanderwaters, and Marie Floyd; her parents, John Daniel Vanderwaters and Audrey Mae Anders Vanderwaters; her siblings, Johnny Clyde Vanderwaters, Imogene Vanderwaters, William Dern Vanderwaters, Max Gordan Vanderwaters, Alfred Leonard Vanderwaters, Francine Vanderwaters Walker, Larry Wayne Vanderwaters, Jerry Dole Vanderwaters, and David Earl Vanderwaters.
She is survived by her children, Jannie Laborde (Kevin), Patricia Peterson (Edward), Jerome Clifford “Honsie” Gauthier, Jr., John Gauthier, and Patrick Gauthier; her 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; her siblings, Margie Kathleen Lachney Pharis, Emmett Daniel Vanderwaters (Sandy), and Mary Alice Vanderwaters; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Elaine was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend and she will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
