Obituary for Annie Irene Jones Cooling

Ann, TeeTee , Aunt Tee, Granny, was a women of many names, much passion and great strength. She was a loving caring person that was of quick wit and always ready for adventure. She believed in telling the truth and speaking ones mind. She could tell stories with flare and lived her life in full color.
She loved her family and friends deeply. She was someone you could always count on in your time of need. She prided herself on the success of all of those she counted as children and family which were many.
She had many hobbies throughout her life... she made dolls, Christmas trees, wreaths, and loved ribbons. She also loved little dogs named Rockie... She will be deeply missed.

Mrs. Annie Irene Jones Cooling, age 77, entered eternal rest on Friday, January 29, 2021 at The Summit Retirement Center in Alexandria.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cooling was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Cooling; son, Ben Nickerson; parents, Collins Jones and Olivia Mabou Jones; brother, Joseph C. Jones; grandson, Matthew McKay; nieces, Charlene Camp, Cheryl Smith, and Carolyn Smith.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Lloyd Nickerson, Jr. (Lisa) and Glenn Nickerson; daughters, Melissa Nickerson McKay (Michael) and Darlene Bannon (Michael); step daughter, Tracy Woodall (Justin); step sons, William Cooling (Monique), Ralph Cooling, Jr., Paul Cooling, and Joe Cooling (Lisa); sister, Bobbie Jean Goodwin, sister-in-law, Wanda Sue Jones; 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
