Funeral service for Anna Nagela will be at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana with Father Steve Brandow officiating. Burial will be in Evangeline Memorial Park, Ville Platte under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana. Visitation for Mrs. Nagela will be from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Gallagher Funeral Home of Ball, Louisiana.
Rosary for Mrs. Nagela will be recited at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, prior to the funeral service.
Mrs. Nagela entered eternal rest on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at her residence in Alexandria, surrounded by her loving family.
Anna was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. Mrs. Nagela loved her family, enjoyed bowling and was a member of St. Rita Catholic Church in Alexandria, LA. Anna was preceded in death by her husband, John Francis Nagela, her parents, Yeager and Helena Soileau and a great-grandson, Jaidon Smith.
Mrs. Nagela is survived by two daughters, Melnee Matthews and husband George and Rose Cruse; six grandchildren, Cabe Matthews (Stephanie), Sarah Matthews, Allison Peabody (Joel), Celeice Westberry, Jay Cruse (Kassie), and Cayla Cruse; eleven great-grandchildren, Kylie, Drake, Beckam, Gage, Annaleice, Reece, Isabella, Gracie, Penelope, Hazel and Anna June; a sister, Ollie Bright and a host of friends.
