Funeral services for Albert L. Sasser will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 at 11:00 AM at Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory in Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Jack West officiating. Interment to follow at Libuse Czech Cemetery in Libuse, Louisiana.
Honored to serve as pallbearers are Scott Crooks, Jacob Paulk, Jeff Paulk, John Paulk, David Sasser Jr., Kevin Sasser, Rob Sasser, and Lukus Welch. Honorary pallbearers are Chad Crooks, Eddie Ray Crooks, Michael Nash, Marty Paulk, Wayne Paulk, David Sasser Sr., Elijah Sasser, and Zachary Sasser.
Visitation will be held beginning on Tuesday, April 4, 2023 from 9:00 AM until service time at the funeral home.
Albert L. Sasser, age 80, a resident of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternity on Friday, March 31, 2023 at his residence in Pineville, Louisiana.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Herbert Sasser and Mildred Tuma Sasser; his brother, Kenneth Sasser; and his sister, Vera Paulk.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Linda Normand Sasser; his loving children, Karin Paulk (Marty), Kevin Sasser (Kerri), and Stephanie Sasser; his grandchildren, Marlee Paulk, Jacob Paulk, Mallori Paulk, John Paulk, Zachary Sasser, Elijah Sasser, Jade Welch, Lukus Welch; his great grandson, Michael Nash; his siblings, Cora Lee Crooks, and David Sasser (Dianne); numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Albert loved woodworking, gardening, working on cars, and riding his side by side. Very proud of his Czech heritage, he enjoyed listening to his Czech polka music. Above all, his passion was spending quality time with his family.
Albert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to The Libuse Czech Cemetery, P.O. Box 57, Libuse, LA 71348.
