Condolence: April 14, 2016 A Mighty good man! Alabama Bill was a Mighty good man! His passing was toooo fast, toooo soon and toooo painful for me and the others who loved him soooo. Bill worked at my house for his first two years of his sobriety. He was a Master Carpenter and handyman. He was chosen to be here in AA and he accepted it with great humility. Alabama Bill was a friend to all, a loving, giving creature of his Higher Power. I loved to watch his sharing of love with Sandy, her family, their pets and his working friends Joe and Lawrence. He always love to talk about his mom, his sisters and his children! Alabama Bill was a man of charm and wit. He seemed to be always happy and open-hearted. His humor was always present and would liven up even the most serious of meetings. We went to an lsu-al game in tuscaloosa and a few other football games in baton rouge. He surely died a happy man with another national championship that he could display in front of all of central louisiana. he loved to end meetings with the song "Yay, Alabama!" Even tho from TN and never living in AL , he chose AL , Texas Rangers and Dallas Cowboys as his teams to support. he mostly wore red AL, USMC and cowboy colors. he had the courage wear anti-louisiana colors at all times. I know he would appreciate us wearing our colors as proudly and as obstinately as he wore his. He would laugh soo heartly as we gather in our purple and gold! he had that kind of sense of humor! we were together about a 1000 days in the last seven years. i was honored that he shared with me the obstacles he overcame in early childhood, his family, the marines and his professional years. WHAT A MAN! WHAT A MIGHTY GOOD MAN! and, thank you Sandy for being such a wonderful life companion and helping bill to be the man he became and his love1 I know he is happy sitting with the Bear! Condolence: Thinking of you all in this time of loss. Bill helped me by modeling honorable actions: not just with his constant smile and genuine heartfelt caring words, but also with his willingness to lend an ear, do a favor, and be direct when he was asking for help. I learned how to be a better man from Bill and I am so grateful he was in my life the years he was, and able to be so helpful to so many especially in those last years.

Condolence: Marine Bill Mask, rest in peace, my friend. You've proudly stood your watch and your duty here is done! Now join your Marine Brothers at the right hand of our Lord. “If the Army and the Navy, ever looked on Heaven’s scenes, they will find the streets are guarded by United States Marines!” I’ll miss your laugh, smile, and heart felt “Semper Fi, Colonel!” Fair winds and following seas, Marine! Semper Fidelis!
