Graveside services for Mrs. Helen Belgard Virden will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana with Reverend Bart Malone officiating, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Virden, age 76, of Alexandria, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 27, 2018 at Lexington House, Alexandria, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family.

She is preceded in death by husband, Benjamin F. Virden, Sr.; son, John Anthony Virden; two brothers, Rayburn Belgard and Edwin Belgard.

She is survived by two sons, Frank Virden (Susan) of Boyce and Michael Virden (Beth) of Boyce; two brothers, Oscar Belgard (Debbie) of Houston and John Belgard (Gail) of Potomac, MD; two sisters, Joann Barnes (Russell) of McKinney, TX and Mildred Lee Sullivan (Tom) of Helena, MT; seven grandchildren, Ryan, Clint, Nicholas, Sara, Natalya, Alex and Chloe; ten great-grandchildren.
