Funeral services for Mr. William “Sonny” Arnold will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at the House of Praise, Dry Prong, Louisiana with Reverend Kenneth Hyde officiating. Interment will follow in Dry Prong Cemetery, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Arnold, age 74, of Dry Prong, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Sonny’s loves were camping, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. He was a truck driver by trade. He loved his fur baby, “Taco”.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Mayo and Marcelle Arnold; three brothers, Vernon “Cheese” Arnold, Arley Ray Arnold and Steve Arnold; one sister, Clarice Gates.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Shirley Arnold; children, Joe Aycock (Terry), Ronald Aycock, Tammy Sketoe (Kevin), Tina Arnold (Chuck) and Tammy Nugent (Toffie); siblings, Bernice Sketoe (Freddy), Retta Ballio (Clay), Arlene Arnold, Debrah Amos (Robert), Lynn Arnold (Judy), MD Arnold, Randy Arnold (Brenda); sister-in-law, Mary Arnold; grandchildren, Gage Gauthier, Christian Chellette, Risa Aycock, Perry Hollingsworth, Lil Ron Aycock, Leah Sketoe, Lakyn Sketoe, Summer Guidry, Houston Hannegan, Dustin Lowe, Tracy Allen and Brandon Lowe; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; several nieces, nephews and friends.

Friends may visit on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at House of Praise, Dry Prong, Louisiana from 9:00 a.m. until of service.

Pallbearers will be Brad Arnold, David Arnold, Brian Arnold, Franky Ray Knight, Winston Pace, Don Arnold, Chris Sketoe and Gage Gauthier; honorary pallbearers are Jessy Whatley, Jerry Whatley, Homer Whatley and James Whatley.
