Life Story for Deanna M. Allen

Deanna  M.  Allen
Funeral services for Mrs. Deanna M. Allen will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 at Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory in Ball, Louisiana, with Pastor Bruce Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Allen, age 76, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Naomi Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Alexandria, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Allen was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved working outdoors with flowers and was a talented seamstress. Mrs. Deanna Allen was as sweet as the sweets that she enjoyed baking. She loved her church and was known for her beautiful smile and sweet personality.

Mrs. Allen is preceded in death by her parents, Wallace Michel and Aline Rachel Michel.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Robert “Bobby” Allen of Pineville; daughters, Sandra Mattingly (Alan) of Louisville, Kentucky, Kathy Friday (Michael) of Natchitoches, Donna Crooks (Tommy) of Colfax, Lisa Simon (David) of Kissimmee, Florida; son, William Roy (Diane) of Alexandria; step-children, Jeffrey Allen (Sharon) of Alexandria, Elaine Brister (Gene) of DeRidder, and Chris Allen of Clinton, North Carolina; siblings, Patricia “Pat” Michel of Mansura, Delta Morgan (John) of Hessmer, and Wallace Michel, Jr. of Hessmer; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers honored to serve are, William Roy, Samuel Roy, Michael Friday, Tommy Crooks, Jason Bordelon, and Alan Mattingly.

Friends may visit on Monday, January 22, 2018 at Gallagher Funeral Home in Ball, Louisiana, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and again on Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at 12:00 p.m.
