Funeral services for Mrs. Linda Pickering Dubois will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 at Summerfield Baptist Church, Colfax, Louisiana with Reverend Gregory Griffin, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in French Cemetery, Colfax, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Dubois, age 70, of Montgomery, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Rapides Regional Medical Center, Alexandria, Louisiana.

Mrs. Dubois was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She loved to watch Little House on the Prairie and never missed an episode. She will be missed by many.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jackie Dubois; parents, William and Mavis Pickering; three brothers, Charles, Tom and Richard Pickering; one sister, Elaine Griffin.

She is survived by her son, Carl Michael Dubois (Tammy) of Montgomery; one daughter, Janie Johnson (Roger) of Montgomery; one brother, Buck Pickering (Nancy) of Otis; three sisters, Judy Skeeles of Otis, Mary Durison (Roy) of Otis and Liz Hall (Johnny) of Lecompte; grandchildren, Charlene Dubois, Jessica Ferrier, Brandon Ferrier and Logan Johnson; one great-grandson, Marshall Lee.

Friends may visit on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at Summerfield Baptist Church, Colfax, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. until time of service.

Pallbearers will be Rickey Pelt, Johnny Hall, Rusty Skeeles, Kemis Miller, Jr., Red Pickering, Sloan Clark, Brandon Ferrier and Dalton Howard.
