Funeral services for Mr. Earl Ray Funderburg will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 8, 2018 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory with Reverend Steve Speer officiating. Interment will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Ball, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Funderburg, age 84, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at Hilltop Nursing Home, Pineville, Louisiana, surrounded by his loving family.

Mr. Funderburg was a loving father and grandfather. He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and a member of His Church, Pineville, Louisiana. Mr. Funderburg was a very kind and sweet man, he will be missed by many.

He is preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Wilma Pyron Funderburg; granddaughter, Jessica Galloway.

He is survived by one son, Michael Funderburg (Laura) of Charlotte, NC; two daughters, Carolyn Galloway of Pineville and Jane Strange (Sam) of Centerpoint; three brothers, Jerone Funderburg (Gloria) of Duckhill, MS, Dee Funderburg (Barbara) of Nashville, TN and David Funderburg (Laverne) of Grenada, MS; one sister, Linda Lester of Jackson, MS; three grandchildren, Lindsay Bouronich, Bryan Funderburg and Ashley Galloway; one great-granddaughter, Acelyn Galloway; numerous friends.

Friends may visit on Monday, January 8, 2018 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
