Life Story for Marguriet "Maggie" Stroud (Weaver)
Funeral services for Mrs. Marguriet “Maggie” Stroud will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Northside Baptist Church, 330 Bienville Street, Montgomery, Louisiana with Reverend’s Randy Tyler and Scott Tilton officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.
Mrs. Stroud, age 70, of Montgomery, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Friday, December 22, 2017 at her residence in Montgomery surrounded by her loving family.
Maggie was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-grandmother, Sister and friend. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Martha Louise “Tootie” Perkins; her parents, Arthur and Martha Weaver, her step-father, Steve Myers and eight sisters and three brothers. She will forever be loved, missed and cherished by all that knew her. Her light will forever shine in the hearts of those that loved her.
She is survived by four daughters, Eltima Roe (Roy), Daisy Allen, Rachel Lewis (Thomas) and Selena Dubois all of Montgomery, Louisiana; one brother, Roy Weaver (Mabel) of Montgomery, La.; thirteen grandchildren, seventeen Great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends that thought the world of her.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be her grandsons, Dustin Lovell, Austin Horton, T.J. Lewis, Skylar Welch, son in law, Tony Perkins and grandson in law Mitchell McPhee. Honorary Pallbearers are Joshua Lodrigue, Tristen Horton, Casey Perkins, Corey Perkins, Jason Versher and Zayne Perkins.
Friends may visit on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at Northside Baptist Church in Montgomery beginning at 5:00 p.m. and on Wednesday until services at 11:00a.m..
