Life Story for Cleveland Joseph Dauzart

Memorial services for Mr. Cleveland Joseph Dauzart, will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Ball, Louisiana, on January 6, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. with Brother Bruce Baker officiating. There will be a food reception after the service at the Ball Community Center.

Mr. Cleveland Joseph Dauzart, age 82, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Friday, December 22, 2017 at Hilltop Nursing and Rehabilitation in Pineville, Louisiana. Arrangements for Mr. Dauzart have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory in Ball, Louisiana.

Mr. Dauzart was born in Echo, Louisiana on May 4, 1935. Mr. Dauzart married his loving wife of 65 years, Mrs. Effie Dean Dauzart, on January 21, 1952. He was baptized as a Jehovah’s Witness in March of 1959. Mr. Dauzart was always on the move and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and gardening. He was a hard worker as well, working at Sign Mart Company for most of his life as an electrician and sign fabricator. Through his job he met many people and was always known for his generosity. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and sibling. Mr. Dauzart will forever be missed by those who loved him.

Mr. Dauzart is preceded in death by his parents, Clovis and Edwina Desoto Dauzart; and 3 brothers, Curly, Alvin, and Ted Dauzart.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Mrs. Effie Dean Dauzart; daughters, Pattie Hobbs (Jim) of Pineville, Charlotte Talambas (Alex) of Alexandria, Christine Bowers (Deray) of Pineville, and Joyce Kelone of Pineville; brothers, Belton Dauzart (Kathleen) of Pineville, Fred Dauzart of Pineville, Martin Dauzart of Pineville, Tommy Dauzart (Shirley) of Pineville, Harvey Fountain (Faye) of Pineville; sisters, Brenda Mayeaux (Daniel) and Maxine Mayeaux (C.J.) of Pearl River, Louisiana; 10 grandchildren, Chris, Nicholas, Nathan, Spiro, Victoria, Derek, Ashley, Patrick, Corinna, and Kevin; 3 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
