Funeral services for Della Watson Newcomb will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24, 2017 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana with Reverend James Greer officiating. Interment will be in Lone Pine Cemetery, Bentley, Louisiana, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory, Ball, Louisiana.

Mrs. Della Watson Newcomb, age 79, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at The Oaks Care Center, Pineville, Louisiana.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wilbert Newcomb; four brothers, Pete, Jack, Earl Watson and a baby boy; one sister, Elouise Watson Walker; one daughter, Elizabeth Webb.

She is survived by two daughters, Donna Webb of Pineville and Cynthia Reeves (Charles) of Pineville; one sister, Eula Pearl Cupples of Pineville; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three step-sons, Gary Newcomb of Texas, Rusty Newcomb of Boyce and Barry Newcomb of Mississippi; one step-daughter, Sabrina Harvey of Pineville; five step-grandchildren; ten step- great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, Louisiana from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
