Obituary for Billie Leigh Morrisette (Chevalier)
Mrs. Billie Leigh Chevalier Morrisette, age 70, of Pineville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at her residence in Pineville, surrounded by her loving family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Gallagher Funeral Home and Crematory in Ball, Louisiana.
Mrs. Morrisette was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and her family was her world. She was an amazing caregiver to her family. Mrs. Morrisette was an amazing cook and she was a successful gardener. She enjoyed all kinds of music from the 1970’s and 1980’s, country music, and Elvis. Mrs. Morrisette was an artist and also frequently went to flea markets. She was deeply loved by her family and friends, and will be forever missed.
Mrs. Morrisette is preceded in death by her parents, Delson and Billie Chevalier; and brother, Edward Dell.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Bob Morrisette; son Shannon Deville (Terri) of Pineville; daughters, Leah “Doodle” Hunter (Kyle) of Ponchatoula, Dana Gardner of Pineville, and Casey Morrisette of Pineville; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will have a memorial service for Mrs. Morrisette at 11:00 a.m.,on November 4, 2017 at Bethel United Methodist Church, in Deville, Louisiana.
