Funeral services for S/Sgt. Jeremy Joseph Marks will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 9, 2015 in the Chapel of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, LA with the Chaplain’s Adcock and Chaplain Baker officiating. Interment with Full Military Honors will be at Malone Cemetery, Ball, LA, under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home, Ball, LA.

S/Sgt. Marks, age 36, of Ball, La. entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 3, 2015 in Pineville, La. Jeremy was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church. He served his country proudly in the United States Army where he served two tours of duty, one in Afghanistan and one in Kuwait. He was a loving husband, father, and brother,

He is preceded in death by his grandmother “ Maw Leona” Marks.

He is survived by his wife of thirteen years, Jeana Nutt Marks; one son, Joseph Carlton Marks and a daughter Leona Nicole Marks all of Ball, La. ; his father, Randy Marks (Evelyn) of Arnaudville, La.; mother, Christine Leblanc (Ray Bellard) of Port Barre, La.; grandfather, Carroll J. “Pappa” Marks of Arnaudville, La. and one sister, Heather Chachere (William) of Arnaudville, La.
